Wild Caught Silver Pomfret
Sourced from its natural habitat, this large pomfret has a few large bones rather than many small, fine ones, making it easy to prepare and enjoy, especially when served whole. Its bone structure is ideal for filleting or presenting intact.

Golden bream is easily recognized by its vibrant yellow fins and slender, oval body, decorated with subtle spotted lines and deep black spots near the pectoral fins.

At Celeplate, ensuring the freshest and most reliable supply of meat for our customers is our top priority.
After extensive negotiations with our farm in Kent and the slaughterhouse in London, we have determined that Friday is the optimal day for delivery. This schedule allows us to coordinate closely with our suppliers, ensuring that the meat is freshly prepared and dispatched every Thursday. By the time it reaches you on Friday, you can be confident that you are receiving the freshest meat possible.
This approach guarantees that our customers enjoy top-quality products each and every week.
Why can’t I choose other delivery days after adding Fresh Friday products to my cart?
Due to the specialty of our Fresh Friday products, delivery is exclusively available on Fridays. This ensures that you receive the freshest meat possible, straight from our farm and slaughterhouse. Once you add any Fresh Friday products to your cart, the delivery day will automatically be set to Friday to maintain the product’s quality and freshness.
For our live seafood, you have the flexibility to choose delivery from Wednesday to Saturday. However, for Fresh Friday meat, the delivery schedule is less flexible compared to other products on our website to guarantee the highest quality and freshness for our customers.
What do you mean by “fresh” and how fresh is it?
At Celeplate, we strive to provide one of the freshest meat experiences in the UK. We understand the importance of freshness, especially for East Asian cuisines.
To ensure optimal freshness, our meat is slaughtered and prepared on Thursday mornings. It is then dispatched the same day and delivered to your doorstep on Friday. This process ensures that you receive the freshest possible meat, maintaining its quality and flavour for your needs.
