Our UK-harvested Cherrystone clams are a true embodiment of the ocean's essence. These hardshell clams boast a delightful, sweet and briny flavour reminiscent of the vast seascapes from which they hail. While they share similarities with their East Coast relatives, the topneck and littleneck, Cherrystones stand out due to their more generous size. This does make their texture slightly chewier, but it's a characteristic that many cherish.

They shine brilliantly when used in dishes like clams casino, and their robust flavour profile makes them an excellent choice for chowders or pasta sauces. Dive into the authentic taste of our coast with these exceptional clams.

Preparation before cooking: Wash and soak in water with salt in 30mins. Change water every 15mins. (1L water/ 2 tsp salt) 

Keep refrigerated. Do not store shellfish in air-tight bags/containers or in water. Discard dead shellfish promptly. The shells of hard clams should be tightly closed and should not open when tapped. Recommend to consume on the day arrived.

Storage Guidelines: Live Products: Keep refrigerated between 0°C and 3°C to maintain freshness and prevent bacterial growth. Store at the bottom of the refrigerator and consume on the day you receive the parcel, as live seafood is highly perishable and its quality degrades quickly due to enzymatic activity. Freezing live products is not recommended, as it can compromise their texture and flavor.
